In a dynamic turn of events on Better Homes and Gardens, set to air this Friday, gardening guru Charlie Albone is swapping his shovels for dance shoes.

The episode, aptly named “Cha-Cha-Charlie”, promises a peek into Charlie’s dancing journey as he signs up for the iconic Australian dance show, Dancing With The Stars. Joh Griggs will be visiting the Albone household for an intimate chat about his surprising decision, following which viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at his rehearsal sessions.

The DIY segment will feature Adam Dovile explaining how homeowners can spot and fix small leaks to prevent dampness and mould buildup. His step-by-step guide aims to save viewers unnecessary expenditure on plumbing.

Baking enthusiast Karen Martini will create a gluten-free masterpiece, a decadent chocolate cake with coconut buttercream, demonstrating that dietary restrictions need not compromise on taste.

In the culinary segment, Ed Halmagyi will be demystifying two classic dishes, Frittata and Risotto, in his “Better Basics” series. Besides providing tips on making the perfect Frittata, he will also dispel common misconceptions about making Risotto, guiding viewers towards mastering these dishes at home.

Graham Ross will be taking viewers on a tour of The Bath House Garden, a four-acre estate that boasts the beauty of all four seasons, with French, English, and Italian influences.

Charlie Albone will also be returning to guide viewers through stage two of the “Evolving Backyard” project, revealing how strategic investment in arbours and feature trees can accentuate a garden’s vertical appeal.

Juliet Love will tackle a front entry upcycle project, demonstrating how a good design, coupled with repainting and upcycling an old sideboard, can make an entryway both functional and glamorous.

In a heartwarming segment, Dr Harry Cooper will advocate for adopting senior pets, emphasising that they can make ideal companions while offering them a renewed chance at life.

Finally, James Tobin, joined by car expert Paul, will guide first-time car buyers through the process of choosing a new car from the plethora of brands available in the market, even test-driving some contenders.
