Australia Amazon Original Series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart launches in Sydney with a special preview screening.
The highly anticipated Australian Amazon Original Series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, starring Sigourney Weaver, Asher Keddie, Leah Purcell, Frankie Adams and Alycia Debnam-Carey, was previewed Wednesday night in Sydney with a special screening of the series.
In attendance to celebrate the launch of the series was author Holly Ringland, director Glendyn Ivin, writer and showrunner Sarah Lambert, who both serve as executive producers, with Made Up Stories Executive Producers Jodi Matterson and Bruna Papandrea who were also in attendance.
Hushidar Kharas, head of Prime Video Australia and New Zealand, Tyler Bern, head of content, Prime Video Australia, New Zealand, and Canada and Sarah Christie, senior scripted development executive, were also in attendance.
Based on Holly Ringland’s best-selling debut novel, the seven-part series tells the emotionally compelling story of Alice Hart. When Alice, aged 9, tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire, she is taken to live with her grandmother June at Thornfield flower farm, where she learns that there are secrets within secrets about her and her family’s past.
The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart premieres with three episodes on Friday 4 August on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, with new episodes rolling out weekly before the series finale on September 1.
