Foxtel has secured a new deal with the 9network enabling the subscription broadcaster to add the popular 9Now app to it’s range of iQ set-top-boxes.
The addition of the 9Now app on iQ3, iQ4 and iQ5 set-top boxes will make it even easier for Foxtel subscribers to catch up on popular Channel 9 content including Beauty and the Geek, 60 Minutes, The Hundred with Andy Lee and The Block.
The new app will also allow for live streaming for all of the 9network’s linear broadcast channels including 9Rush which is currently unavailable on free-to-air television in most regional markets.
Confirming the addition of the new app, a spokesperson for Foxtel told TV Blackbox;
“The 9Now App has begun rolling out to iQ3, iQ4 and iQ5 Foxtel set top boxes joining our extensive line up of global and local apps already available to Foxtel subscribers including 10 Play, ABC iView, SBS On Demand, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube.“
