Directed by Chris Weaver and produced by Omaha Productions, NFL Films, Skydance Sports, and WWE, the series is led by executive producers Peyton Manning, Jamie Horowitz, Ross Ketover, Keith Cossrow, Ken Rodgers, Jessica Boddy, Lee Fitting, Ben Houser, and Marc Pomarico, with Erik Powers as showrunner.

The first season comprises five 50-minute episodes, titled:
“New Era,” “Push,” “Worth the Wait,” “Heel Turn,” and “WrestleMania.”

WWE: Unreal expands on the streaming partnership between Netflix and WWE, which commenced in January 2025 with WWE Raw moving to the platform. Since the launch, a number of high-profile WWE Superstars, including The Rock, John Cena, and current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, have featured in live events.

The new series is positioned as an opportunity for viewers to discover the work that goes into crafting storylines and moments that unfold both inside and outside the ring. Netflix subscribers can access the trailer on the platform ahead of the release.

WWE: Unreal will be available to stream globally on Netflix from 29 July 2025.
