Lana Greenhalgh has been promoted to Director of Scripted Originals at Foxtel Group, expanding her leadership across the company’s growing portfolio of local scripted content.
Greenhalgh, who previously worked as a talent agent, joined Foxtel in 2015 as Assistant to the Head of Drama and has since held several roles in the scripted team, including Commissioning Editor for Drama and, most recently, Head of Scripted Originals.
During that time, she has worked across key titles for the company, including everyone’s favourite Colin from Accounts, The Twelve, Mix Tape, High Country, and more recently, the television adaptation of Liane Moriarty’s best-selling novel The Last Anniversary.
Her promotion follows recent recognition in May, when she was named Commissioner of the Year at the 2025 Screen Producers Australia Awards, held on the Gold Coast.
Announcing the news on LinkedIn yesterday, Greenhalgh said she was:
“Very proud to continue to lead the charge and commission bold, premium, character-led Scripted Originals alongside a dedicated team and with the very best storytellers and screen practitioners in Australia.”
She also acknowledged the support of Foxtel executives Hilary Perchard, Chief Commercial and Content Officer, Wendy Moore, Director of Lifestyle and Entertainment, along with several colleagues and the wider Foxtel team.
TV Blackbox understands the promotion recognises Greenhalgh’s contribution to shaping Foxtel’s scripted slate and delivering a string of acclaimed, award-winning series.
