Starring Milo Callaghan and Emmy® nominee John Slattery, the series follows a young lawyer caught in a web of legal conspiracies as he takes on a seasoned courtroom rival.

The series will debut with weekly episodes every Saturday, exclusively on local streamer Stan.

Stan today released the trailer and first look images for legal drama series The Rainmaker, premiering August 16, only on Stan.

From showrunner and executive producer Michael Seitzman, the series stars Milo Callaghan (Dune: Prophesy) alongside Emmy® Award-nominee John Slattery (Mad Men).

Based on the best-selling novel by John Grisham, Rudy Baylor (Callaghan), who is fresh out of law school, goes head-to-head with courtroom lion Leo Drummond (Slattery) as well as his law school girlfriend, Sarah.

Rudy, along with his boss, Bruiser, and her disheveled paralegal, Deck, uncover two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client’s son.

The cast also includes Lana Parrilla (Once Upon a Time, The Lincoln Lawyer), Madison Iseman (I Know What You Did Last Summer), P.J. Byrne (Babylon), Dan Fogler (The Offer), Wade Briggs (His Dark Materials), and Robyn Cara (Bodkin).

The Rainmaker is produced by Lionsgate Television and Blumhouse Television. Michael Seitzman, John Grisham, Patrick Moran, Jason Richman, David Gernert and Jason Blum serve as executive producers.

New series The Rainmaker premieres August 16, followed by new episodes every Saturday, only on Stan.
