King of the Hill is getting a reboot, and Australian viewers will be able to stream it exclusively on Disney+ this August.
The revived animated series picks up years after the original run, with the Hill family returning to Arlen, Texas following a stint abroad.
Now in his 20s, Bobby is chasing his culinary dreams, while Hank and Peggy reunite with old friends in a town that’s moved on without them.
From Disney:
HO-YEAH! “KING OF THE HILL” SEASON 14 STREAMING EXCLUSIVELY ON DISNEY+ AUGUST 4TH
Disney+ announced that the beloved adult animated series King of the Hill season 14 will premiere on Monday, August 4th with all 10-episodes streaming exclusively on Disney+ in Australia.
After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill.
Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane.
King of the Hill is set in the fictional Arlen, Texas, the original series followed the life of Hank Hill, an enthusiastic seller of propane and propane accessories; his wife, Peggy, local Boggle champ and substitute teacher; and their son, Bobby, who defied any expectation his father had for a son.
Hank’s friends – conspiracy theorist Dale, military barber Bill, and cool but inarticulate Boomhauer, along with Peggy’s friends Minh and meteorologist Nancy, and Bobby’s friend Connie helped the Hills navigate a changing world.
The season stars Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss.
King of the Hill hails from 20th Television Animation and is executive produced by original co-creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, as well as incoming executive producer and showrunner Saladin Patterson.
Additionally, 3 Arts’ Michael Rotenberg and Howard Klein, and Bandera Entertainment’s Dustin Davis serve as executive producers.
The Emmy®-winning series ran for 13 seasons with over 250 episodes.

If you notice bill gets cough, he never comes back. and based on that trees behind dropping and growing leaves, years go by and you never see Bill again
Joe Holleran he is standing next to hank….. after hank returns from Saudi Arabia. Clearly bill isn’t dead
Matthew Harkin no he isnt.
Matthew Harkin hank and pegi get out of blue uber, grab yard sign, toss in trash, bobby joins them. End scene
Joe Holleran are you looking at the above picture? Also they did a preview of the new season and bill is in it.
Joe Holleran the ending of the intro with hank Bobby and Peggy keeps in line with the original they are just older
Matthew Harkin Didn’t say he was going to not be in it I simply said something happens to him a long line
Australia can keep it too
Kristin Haldorson it’s going global, smarty pants.
“heading to Disney+”
Yeah, pass then.
Joseph Norris ok, Mr. DreamWorks 🙄🙄😒😆😆
Matt Troutner
Disney money is being to create such crap it isn’t funny. I don’t mean crap in terms of controversial subjects, I mean badly written scripts, with nonsensical plots and plot holes, wooden acting, and/or substandard effects.
So, if it’s Disney+, pass.
Joseph Norris It’s still a Mike Judge project. Disney is just distributing it. If you’re that hell bent on not watching a show because its on a certain streaming platform, you come off as weird and dumb.
Joseph Norris Idc if it was to debut on Satan’s Station. Also fox, fx, Hulu, abc all owned by Disney.
Sara Trankler its going to be on hulu
Arthur Conklin Disney owns Hulu
Sara Trankler I know but it’s still going to be a good season
A very different and unique show. I always liked it.
It’s on Hulu.
Dyllan Rust Hulu is majority owned by Disney which is why Hulu gets Disney stuff sometimes
I’m not getting Disney, guarantee they ruin the show.
Hulu
Don Allen well you can watch it on both Disney and Hulu
