The sparkle and mirror ball trophy returns this June, with Seven confirming its new season of Dancing With The Stars will premiere in the coming weeks.
The full cast — including Rebecca Gibney, Osher Günsberg, Shaun Micallef, Susie O’Neill and more — was previously announced, but new contestant promos have begun rolling out as the ballroom countdown begins.
From Seven:
From Rafters to Rumba. Rebecca Gibney Joins Dancing With The Stars
She’s survived family chaos, criminal profiling and countless Aussie TV dramas, but now Rebecca Gibney is stepping into her sparkliest role yet in the brand-new season of Dancing With The Stars, coming soon to Seven and 7plus.
With multiple Gold Logies under her belt, the Packed to the Rafters matriarch and all-round national treasure is ready to swap slippers for stilettos and hit the ballroom floor. Rebecca’s no stranger to the spotlight but how will she handle a cha cha under pressure?
Will her professional partner Ian Waite bring out Rebecca’s inner dancing diva before the Mirror Ball Trophy gets snapped up by someone else?
