Emotions were running high on Farmer Wants A Wife last night, as Farmer Thomas was blindsided by Claire’s sudden decision to leave the farm — describing it as a “bombshell”.

Meanwhile, Farmer Corey found himself in hot water after it was revealed he’d kissed both Chelsea and Keeley on the same night, leaving both women confused about where they stood.

The fallout played out during a group trip to the Goulburn Rodeo, where the farmers also had to decide who they’d take on their next solo date.

“I felt like a bombshell had been dropped on me!” – Heartbreak for Thomas on Farmer Wants A Wife

Last night on Farmer Wants A Wife: Shock and heartbreak for Farmer Thomas as Claire abruptly left the farm; while Chelsea and Keeley were surprised to discover that Farmer Corey kissed them both on the same night!

Coming together for their first social event at the Goulburn Rodeo, the farmers and ladies shared their highs and lows of farm life, before host Natalie Gruzlewski arrived to announce that farmers would choose their next solo date by the end of the night.

As they all settled into the night, Claire voiced her concern that Clarette was getting more one-on-one time with Thomas. “I haven’t been able to spend much time with Farmer Thomas,” said Claire.

“All the other ladies really enjoyed their 24-hour dates and formed good connections, and they’re all still feeling very smitten.”

“For me, I think the love bubble is definitely being burst. It’s just a different dynamic now.”

When Ellen whisked Thomas away for a one-on-one chat, Clarette took the opportunity to tell the other ladies about her kiss with Thomas during the farm farewell dinner. News of Clarette’s kiss only fuelled further doubts in Claire’s mind about her feelings for Thomas.

With his 24-hour date with Claire still fresh in his mind, Thomas agreed to go for a chat with Clarette, who was keen to let him know that she had strong feelings for him. The pair’s conversation ended with another kiss.

After her one-on-one chat and kiss with Farmer Corey, Chelsea was feeling confident about her position on the farm until she discovered that Corey had kissed Keeley immediately after her.

That makes me feel a bit uneasy knowing that he kissed you as well,” Chelsea said to Keeley. Keeley agreed, replying:

“It’s very confusing that he’s kissed me and then he’s turned around and kissed you!”

Keeley

Summing up her disappointment in a piece to the camera, Chelsea said: “Everything that he (Corey) said to me, he also said to Keeley. He kissed me, he kissed Keeley. I don’t know where I stand with the guy, I really don’t.

During the night, Claire confided to the other ladies that she didn’t feel her connection with Thomas was strong enough to move to the farm.

When finally alone with Thomas, Claire broke the news that she was leaving the farm. “I have been quiet and pulling back a bit, but I’ve kind of like reflected and I don’t actually know if I want to continue.

Thomas took the news hard, saying it was like a “bombshell” had been dropped on him. “I’m a little bit disappointed, to be honest. Claire is an amazing human,” he said.

“Yeah, I’m pretty hurt. I caught feelings pretty quickly. In the back of my mind, I knew I was going to get hurt.”
