Adult animation juggernaut Rick and Morty will return for its eighth season on Monday, 26 May, streaming exclusively on Max in Australia.
The sci-fi comedy series—centred around the wild adventures of sociopathic genius Rick Sanchez and his anxious grandson Morty—has built a global following since its debut, picking up two Emmys for Outstanding Animated Program along the way.
Season 8 will launch in over 170 countries and in 42 languages, with the core cast returning: Ian Cardoni, Harry Belden, Sarah Chalke, Chris Parnell, and Spencer Grammer. The series continues under the leadership of co-creator Dan Harmon and showrunner Scott Marder.

While details remain vague, the official description teases the return of favourites like Summer, Jerry, Beth (and the other Beth), and maybe even a mission for Butter Bot. As always, anything—and everything—is on the table.
