Filming is about to begin on the new season of Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen, with production taking place this May at NEP Studios in Eveleigh, Sydney.

Eight episodes are scheduled to film across four days, with two studio sessions each day. Free audience tickets are now available for those keen to catch the chaos live.

First announced at 10’s Upfronts last year, the revived series returns to its original home on Network 10—this time with a slightly updated title: Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen.

This season, Gen Y (Millennials), Gen Z, and Gen X will go head-to-head once again in a fresh round of pop culture chaos and intergenerational rivalry.

The audience call shared online reads:

“Talkin’ Bout Your Gen has been regenerated!”

“The much-loved series returns to cause intergenerational conflict, pit children against their parents, and spread havoc across Australian households.”

“In each episode, our team captains will be joined by guests from across generations and compete to prove their superiority.”

While longtime host Shaun Micallef won’t be back behind the podium, the new host and team captains are yet to be revealed—but announcements are expected soon.

The original series first aired on 10 for four season from 2009 before moving to Nine for a further two seasons in 2017.
