Foxtel and BBC Studios Australia have officially fired up the ovens, opening casting for Season 9 of The Great Australian Bake Off.
They’re calling on passionate amateur bakers from across the country to throw on their aprons and take on the ultimate baking challenge inside the iconic Bake Off Shed.
The new season comes as the network and production company are likely considering how to approach the hosting line-up, following the passing of beloved presenter Cal Wilson in late 2023.

Aspiring contestants must be 16 or over, an Australian citizen or permanent resident, and strictly amateur – no professional culinary qualifications allowed in the past 10 years.
From biscuits to bread, pavlovas to pies, bakers will once again put their skills to the test with signature bakes, technical challenges, and showstopping creations all on the menu.
Applications are now open. On your marks… get set… bake.
