Max is set to debut Companion, the dark sci-fi horror thriller from the producers of Barbarian, exclusively available for streaming this Friday, 18 April.
From New Line Cinema, the studio behind The Notebook and Barbarian, Companion first hit Australian theatres in late January and now makes its global streaming premiere on streamer Max.
Written and directed by Drew Hancock (known for My Dead Ex and Suburgatory), the film features a star-studded cast including Yellowjackets star Sophie Thatcher (pictured above), The Boys’ Jack Quaid, Lukas Gage (Dead Boy Detectives), Megan Suri, Harvey Guillén, and Rupert Friend.
Touted as a unique love story with an unsettling twist, Companion is produced by Barbarian‘s Raphael Margules, J.D. Lifshitz, Zach Cregger, and Roy Lee, with Tracy Rosenblum and Jamie Buckner serving as executive producers.
