Prime Video has announced that Another Simple Favour, the sequel to the 2018 dark comedy thriller A Simple Favour, will launch globally on the streamer from May 1, 2025.
Also revealed is the official trailer, with Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively reprising their roles as Stephanie and Emily in a follow-up set against the lavish backdrop of a destination wedding in Capri, Italy.
Directed by Paul Feig and written by Feig and Jessica Sharzer, the sequel sees the pair reunite after Emily invites Stephanie to her extravagant wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman. As expected, secrets, chaos, and murder aren’t far behind.
Joining the cast are Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, Alex Newell, Elena Sofia Ricci, along with Henry Golding and Allison Janney.
The original film was based on the novel of the same name by Darcey Bell, with the sequel continuing the story of Stephanie and Emily—characters first introduced in the book’s twisted tale of friendship and deception.
Presented by Amazon MGM Studios, Another Simple Favour is produced by Lionsgate and Feigco Entertainment.
