The 2025 Federal Budget will be handed down on Tuesday 25 March with Treasurer Jim Chalmers delivering his fourth budget on the eve of a federal election campaign.
Despite February’s interest rate cut, the government is under pressure to deliver struggling households more cost-of-living relief while it also grapples with growing global uncertainty sparked by Donald Trump’s trade war.
