From Abbey Holmes juggling home renovations and pregnancy news to Colin’s mouth-watering 20-minute peach pie, there’s something for everyone. Charlie’s working with a young couple to maximise a tiny backyard, while Adam adds a magical touch to a flat-pack wardrobe. JOHANNA – ABBEY HOLMES HOME RENO

Abbey Holmes has a big year ahead of her. The sports commentator and former AFLW player is in the middle of renovating her home with her husband, former AFL play Keegan Brooksby…and she’s just found out she’s pregnant! Johanna’s in Melbourne to get a sneak peek at the renovations and to find out what’s next for this sporting superstar.

CHARLIE – MULTI-USE TINY SPACE

Just because your space is small, doesn’t mean you can’t dream BIG when it comes to your garden. Charlie’s helping a young couple who, like many first home buyers, don’t have much space for a backyard. In fact, their tiny terrace has a small concrete-covered courtyard…and that’s it. Charlie’s turning it into a multifunctional space with zones for entertaining, cooking and gardening.

ADAM – WONDERLAND WARDROBE

Once upon a time, a young girl’s wardrobe was falling apart… so Adam came along and with some flat-pack magic, transformed it into a storybook village fit for a queen. He’s showing you how to do the same, by upgrading a standard flat-pack wardrobe by adding cute-as-a- button doors shaped like houses.

COLIN – PEACH & PECAN PIE TOPPER

A delicious peach pie is really hard for even an experienced baker to master…right? Not when Colin is involved! He’s sharing his peach and pecan pie, which comes together in 20 minutes and is so easy, anyone can make it.

DR HARRY – ON THE NOSE

Dogs love a good sniff…but did you know that a typical dog’s nose can be thousands of times more sensitive than a human nose? In fact, some dogs have such a good sense of smell, they can use it to help them find virtually anything. This week, Dr Harry’s meeting 8- year-old Ketsia, who loves to sniff out and find golf balls and it’s a great way to keep her physically and mentally challenged.

GRAHAM – SMALL BACKYARD, BIG IDEAS

Recently, longtime Better Homes and Gardens viewer, Mitchell, wrote in to invite Graham to check out his small backyard…and boy, is Graham glad he did! Mitchell is a self-taught gardener, and he’s managed to pack 40 roses, 17 fruit trees, 8 blossom trees and a greenhouse into his tiny but immaculate garden. It may be small, but this garden is overflowing with clever ideas.

JULIET – MAKE IT RIGHT WITH A WHITE LIVING SPACE

Believe it or not, the hardest colour to get right when you’re painting a space isn’t actually a colour at all…it’s white! There are dozens of shades to choose from and although they might look very similar in the tin, choosing the right white can be make or break when it comes to decorating your space.
