Kylie Minogue is stepping into a new role as herself in Netflix’s upcoming screwball whodunnit series The Residence.
Set against the backdrop of the White House, the series unfolds a mysterious death during the Australian State Dinner, and naturally, everyone’s a suspect – even Kylie.
In a newly released clip, Kylie seeks refuge from her adoring fans by turning to Detective Cordelia Cupp, adding her signature charm to the mix.
Alongside Kylie, the show also stars Aussie actors Julian McMahon as the Australian Prime Minister and Brett Tucker as the Foreign Minister, with plenty of hilarious Aussie humour throughout.
The Residence, created by Paul William Davies and executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, is set to premiere on Netflix on March 20.
With 8 episodes packed with twists and turns, it’s shaping up to be a fun ride, and no doubt Kylie’s appearance will be one of the highlights.
Hope she lasts longer than she did in San Andreas…..I was so excited to see that movie because of her, 15 minutes later….
