Get ready for two huge nights of comedy as ABC again partners with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

The Gala, hosted by Mel Buttle, delivers star-studded laughs for a good cause, while The Allstars Supershow, hosted by Michael Hing, showcases the best in stand-up.

The ABC is thrilled to partner once again with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to present two of the most anticipated nights on the Australian comedy calendar.

The Gala, which celebrates the festival’s brightest stars while proudly supporting Oxfam, promises a night of laughter and entertainment. Hosted by Mel Buttle, it’s sure to have you in stitches when it premieres on Wednesday, March 26, at 9pm on ABC TV and ABC iview.

If that’s not enough to whet your appetite, strap yourself in for The Allstars Supershow. Hosted by Michael Hing, the two-hour special will bring you the best of the best in comedy, as well as some of the freshest new comics when it premieres on Wednesday 2 April at 9pm on ABC TV and ABC iview.

Both recorded live on the iconic Palais Theatre stage in Melbourne, these are two comedy events not to be missed.
