SCREEN PRODUCERS AUSTRALIA reveals finalists for 23rd Annual Awards

Screen Producers Australia has today unveiled the finalists for the prestigious 23rd Annual SPA Awards, honouring the outstanding achievements of Australia’s top screen producers.

Spanning film, television, online, and documentary categories, the nominations highlight the creativity and innovation driving the nation’s screen sector, with winners to be crowned at a glittering ceremony on the Gold Coast this May.

Several standout finalists have emerged for the 23rd Annual SPA Awards, including Easy Tiger Productions, which secured multiple nominations across drama, comedy, and telemovie categories, while Ludo Studio impressed with nods for Bluey, The Strange Chores, and the drama Thou Shalt Not Steal.

Roadshow Rough Diamond also made a strong showing with nominations for Bump, Human Error, and Plum, reflecting its growing impact on Australian storytelling.

Screen Producers Australia (SPA) is proud to announce the finalists for the 23rd Annual SPA Awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of Australian screen producers and the exceptional stories they bring to audiences locally and globally.

The prestigious SPA Awards recognise the incredible contributions of businesses and individuals across a range of production categories, including film, television, online, documentary, and reality. This year’s finalists reflect Australia’s screen sector’s extraordinary diversity, talent, and innovation.

This year 70 productions from 61 production businesses are nominated across the twelve production categories.

Winners of the 2024 SPA Awards will be announced at the prestigious Awards Ceremony, to be held on 8 May 2025 at The Star Gold Coast, the final day of SCREEN FOREVER 39, Australia’s premier screen industry event.
