The hype surrounding Apple Cider Vinegar continues to build as the limited Australian series, based on the infamous con artist Belle Gibson, reaches #1 in five countries, including Australia.
The global success of the Netflix series, which climbed to #3 in the global Top 10 last week, even prompted Nine to air a TV special Dangerous Lies: Unmasking Belle Gibson on Monday night featuring footage from their 60 Minutes exposé on Gibson from 2015.
Netflix will also release a short documentary special, The Search for Instagram’s Worst Con Artist, available tomorrow on the streamer, further fueling the conversation around this true-ish story.

Apple Cider Vinegar is the latest Australian series to feature in the Netflix Top 10, with Territory peaking at #2, Heartbreak High S2 peaking at #5, and Boy Swallows Universe peaking at #3 on the global Top 10 English TV list.
