Wooden Horse, the award-winning indie production company known for its standout projects like The Clearing and Mother and Son, has promoted Alexandra Cameron to the newly created role of Head of Production & Co-Producer.
In addition to Cameron’s promotion, Vanilla Tupu has been promoted within the company to Development Manager, further strengthening Wooden Horse’s leadership team.

Alexandra Cameron, a foundation staff member at Award-winning indie-production company Wooden Horse has been promoted to the newly created position of Head of Production & Co-Producer.
Alexandra, who joined Wooden Horse as a development and production co-ordinator in 2019, has most recently been in the position of Associate Producer, working on The Clearing for Disney + and Mother and Son Season 1, for the ABC. She stepped into the role of co-producer on Season 2 of the show, which is currently in post-production.

Alexandra will act as co-producer on selected productions, based primarily at the company’s Melbourne office. She will also take on the senior position as Head of Production nationally, working alongside Finlayson and Troy and the Wooden Horse team to shepherd projects into production overseeing them through to delivery.
Production and Development Co-ordinator, Vanilla Tupu (pictured above), will step up into the role of Development Manager. Vanilla Joined Wooden Horse in February 2023 following a role as Line Producer on Netflix’s documentary “ONEFOUR: Against All Odds”.
