The NBA All Star Weekend is live across ESPN this Saturday February 15 – Monday February 17 with a new format that is set to ignite the NBA All-Star Game.

2025 sees a four-team mini-tournament included alongside traditional favourites NBA All-Star Three-Point Contest, Slam Dunk Content, All-Star Celebrity Game, Skills Challenge and more.

LeBron James, Steph Curry and Jayson Tatum tackle Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Victor Wembanyama in an epic 2025 NBA All-Star Showdown.
 
The 2025 NBA All Star Weekend arrives at the Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors.
 
ESPN’s coverage begins on Saturday February 15 at 11am AEDT with the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge.
 
Sunday February 16 sees NBA All-Star Saturday take centre stage, which includes the highly anticipated NBA All-Star Three Point Contest and NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Content, live from 12pm AEDT on ESPN2.
 
Then ESPN debuts the brand new 2025 NBA All-Star Game format, live Monday February 17 at 12pm AEDT. 
 
For the first time, the NBA All-Star Game will feature a mini tournament with four teams and three games. Two teams will meet in one semifinal (Game 1), and the remaining two teams will meet in the other semifinal (Game 2).
 
The winning teams from Game 1 and Game 2 will advance to face each other in the championship (Game 3). For each game, the winner will be the first team to reach or surpass 40 points.
 
Each team will have eight players and rosters have been drafted by NBA commentators and honorary team general managers Charles BarkleyShaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith.
 
Team Shaq – LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, Jayson Tatum, Damian Lillard and Jaylen Brown.
 
Team Kenny – Anthony Edwards, Jaren Jackson Jr, Darius Garland, Cade Cunningham, Jalen Brunson, Jalen Williams, Evan Mobley and Tyler Herro.
 
Team Chuck – Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Pascal Siakam, Karl-Anthony Towns, Trae Young, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Victor Wembanyama, Alperen Sengun and Donovan Mitchell. 
 
The fourth team will be the winning team from the championship game of the Rising Stars Challenge – the annual showcase of top first- and second-year NBA players and NBA G League standouts. The Rising Stars champion will be known as Team Candace, for honorary GM Candace Parker.
 
The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game tips off on Saturday 11am AEDT where Team Bonds meets Team Rice – led by local sporting heroes Barry Bonds and Jerry Rice.
 
Acclaimed comedian and creator Druski, two-time GRAMMY®-nominated multi-platinum artist Noah Kahan, six-time GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter Shaboozey, Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Terrell Owens,  top basketball skills trainer Chris Brickley, star of Marvel Studios’
“Captain America: New World Order” Danny Ramirez, WWE Superstar Bayley and Popular streamer Kai Cenat lead the celebrity names
 
Sunday’s NBA All-Star Three Point Content sees Jalen Brunson, Cade Cunningham, Darius Garland, Tyler Herro, Buddy Held, Cameron Johnson, Dame Lillard and Norman Powell look to become the NBA’s champion sharpshooter.
 
Matas Buzelis, Andre Jackson Jr, Mac McClung and Stephon Castle will light up the court as part of the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Content – a must see event every year on NBA All-Star Weekend. 
 
ESPN viewers will be taken inside all the colour and excitement of NBA All-Star Weekend with Nothing But Net. ESPN’s Kane Pitman and Skubie Mageza will host special Nothing But Net NBA All-Star programming, including interviews with some of the biggest names across the NBA.
