The Seven Network has announced Full Sweat, a behind-the-scenes docuseries following the Hawthorn Football Club’s pre-season preparations for the 2025 AFL season.
Set to air on Seven and 7plus next year, the series will provide fans with an exclusive look into the inner workings of the Hawks as they aim to build on their 2024 finals success.
From Seven:
Ahead of the highly anticipated 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, the Seven Network has announced the Hawthorn Football Club will be the subject of a behind-the-scenes pre-season documentary, Full Sweat, to be broadcast exclusively on Seven and 7plus Sport.
The multi-part docuseries will give AFL fans a unique, inner-sanctum look into the 2025 AFL pre-season, where Sam Mitchell’s side will be aiming to build on their memorable 2024 finals berth.
With key figures of the brown and gold set to feature, Seven will take viewers behind the scenes in an access all areas documentary, as the Hawks embark on one of their biggest years yet, both on and off the field.
The unmissable documentary is set to be released before the 2025 AFL season gets underway on Seven and streamed on 7plus Sport.
Seven Network Director of Sport, Chris Jones said:
“As we embark on a huge 2025 in which Australians can finally stream the footy live and free on 7plus Sport, we couldn’t think of a better way to launch the season than with an exclusive behind-the-scenes series with the most exciting club in the competition.”
“Fans of all teams were captivated by the Hawks in 2024, and we cannot wait to take Australians behind the curtain of a gruelling pre-season at Waverley Park with some of the competition’s most popular players.”
“Full Sweat will kick off Seven’s huge 2025 AFL season, which includes seven days of prime-time AFL programming throughout the entire home and away season and Finals Series, live and free on Seven and 7plus Sport,” he said.
Hawthorn CEO Ash Klein said he is looking forward to filming getting underway.
“We’re delighted to be working with the Seven Network and JAM TV to bring Hawks members and fans inside our great club during the upcoming AFL pre-season,” he said.
“We couldn’t have reached the heights that we did in 2024 without our members and fans and as we aim to back up our success in 2025, it is only fitting we give them an inner-sanctum, behind-the-scenes look into our pre-season.”
“We want to have everyone along for the ride as we hope to have another strong year for the brown and gold,” Mr Klein said.
