The CommBank Matildas are back on Australian soil, ready to face football powerhouses Brazil and Chinese Taipei in a series of live matches exclusive to Network 10 and Paramount+.
This homecoming brings a mix of celebration and competition, with Clare Polkinghorne bidding farewell to international football and Emily van Egmond set to reach her 150th cap for Australia.

Australia’s most beloved sporting team, the Tillies, are back on home soil and lacing up to take on Football giants Brazil and wildcards Chinese Taipei, live and exclusive to Network 10 and Paramount+.
Coming off away clashes against Germany and Switzerland in Europe last month, Australia will face off against Brazil at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Thursday, 28 November followed by a second clash on Sunday, 1 December at Gold Coast’s Cbus Super Stadium. The CommBank Matildas will then head to Melbourne for a return to AAMI Park on Wednesday, 4 December to host Chinese Taipei before closing out the year in Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday, 7 December.
CommBank Matildas’ interim Head Coach, Tom Sermanni, has selected an exciting combination of internationally and locally based players, mixing seasoned pros with fresh talent who are eager to make their mark. The window will see milestones celebrated along with potential debuts for local talent.
Following 167 matches, stalwart defender Clare Polkinghorne is clearing the ball for one final international window with the Matildas. At this Thursday’s clash against Brazil, in her home city of Brisbane, Clare will be taking a bow as the squad and country come together to celebrate her almost 20 years of service to the national team.
Vice-captain Emily van Egmond is also on the verge of a significant milestone with the midfielder set to become only the fourth Australian footballer to reach 150 appearances for the nation.
