Channel 9’s Golden Bachelor Australia is casting for 2025. If you’re 60+, it could be your chance for love.
Australian television is set to embrace romance at any age, with Channel 9’s The Golden Bachelor now casting for its debut season in 2025.
This new series, aimed at celebrating love in one’s later years, will be hosted by Samantha Armytage and invites Australians aged between 60 and 75 to apply.
In a casting notice, Nine poses the question:
“Are you 60-75 and looking for the last great love of your life? Or do you know someone in their golden years who deserves one more shot at their happily ever after?”
The program is seeking applicants who may be searching for a meaningful relationship and a fresh start. The call extends not only to men in the desired age range but also to women with an interest in embarking on a unique journey toward romance.
The notice encourages both self-nominations and applications on behalf of loved ones, making the casting process open to a wide audience who may know someone deserving of this new opportunity.
The show aims to follow Australia’s first Golden Bachelor and a cast of women seeking love later in life. Applicants must reside in Australia, and casting is open nationwide.
Production for the Australian adaptation of The Golden Bachelor is scheduled to take place in Sydney between February and April 2025, with the series expected to premiere in the latter half of the year
Applications are currently being accepted, and further information, including how to apply, is available through the official casting platform.
