Experience the Australia v India Test series in Hindi with Kayo Sports. A dedicated feed to engage more cricket fans this summer.
Kayo Sports has announced the return of its dedicated Hindi feed, timed to coincide with the highly anticipated Australia v India five-match Test series. The service will be available to all Kayo subscribers, broadening accessibility for cricket fans across the country, particularly those from multicultural backgrounds.
The move reflects Foxtel Group’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the inclusivity of its sports coverage, aiming to reach a diverse audience of cricket enthusiasts. By providing a Hindi commentary option, the group is striving to ensure that more fans can engage with the game in their preferred language.
Adding to the excitement surrounding the cricket season, veteran cricketer David Warner is set to begin his commentating career. The 38-year-old will make his debut behind the microphone during the opening Australia v Pakistan One Day International on November 4. Following his commentary debut, Warner will also cover three T20 matches between Australia and Pakistan, as well as contribute to the commentary team during the Australia v India Test series and the Big Bash League (BBL), alongside his playing duties for the Sydney Thunder.
Warner joins a star-studded panel of cricket experts already lined up for the summer on Kayo Sports, including big names like Adam Gilchrist, Wasim Akram, Ravi Shastri, Harsha Bhogle, Isa Guha, Michael Vaughan, Mike Hussey, Allan Border, Mark Waugh, Kerry O’Keeffe, Brendon Julian, Mel Jones, Mark Howard, Alyssa Healy, and Brett Lee.
Fox Cricket commentator and former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee praised the initiative, noting the impact of offering content in multiple languages.
“It’s great that Kayo Sports is investing again into a Hindi Feed, ensuring that a wide range of cricket fans can enjoy and engage with the sport they love.
The upcoming Australia v Pakistan One Day Internationals is the perfect way to kick off a blockbuster summer, can’t wait for all the action to get underway,” he said.
James Allsopp, Cricket Australia’s Chief of Cricket, also welcomed the expanded coverage, particularly its appeal to multicultural communities.
“We are really excited about the coverage Fox Sports will provide of the blockbuster summer of cricket and particularly appreciate the initiatives they are taking to deepen their connection with multicultural audiences,”
“We are dedicated to ensuring cricket is fully inclusive and accessible as we grow the game, and our broadcast partners play a vital role in achieving these important goals.”
Kayo Sports will be offering live, ad-break-free coverage of the Australia v Pakistan three-match ODI series, available exclusively on Fox Cricket.
Fans can look forward to a summer packed with high-quality cricket coverage, as the platform continues to innovate with features like the Hindi feed, further enriching the viewing experience for audiences across Australia.
