Enter the world of Billion Dollar Playground on BINGE, a new luxury reality series featuring Australia’s top hospitality experts.
BINGE is stepping into the realm of high-end reality television with its latest Australian production, Billion Dollar Playground.
The upcoming series promises to immerse viewers in a world defined by extravagant real estate, lavish lifestyles, and the high-stakes demands of the ultra-wealthy. The streaming platform has just revealed the show’s central figures—a group of elite luxury service professionals whose sole directive is simple: “If it’s legal, make it happen.”
Developed by Ronde Media, an Australian production company, Billion Dollar Playground follows a team of hospitality experts tasked with satisfying every need of their affluent clients during luxury vacations.
The series is set against the backdrop of some of Australia’s most impressive landscapes and vacation homes. Blending workplace reality drama with the allure of opulent living, the show offers an inside look at a rarely seen side of the service industry.
The ensemble cast of Billion Dollar Playground is a diverse group of professionals who, according to the show’s creators, bring both humour and ambition to their demanding roles. Leading the charge are the concierge team—Salvatore, Jasmin, Grace, and Heaven—alongside the sophisticated butler JB. They are joined by trainee Nicole, who is eager to prove herself, and the resourceful tradesman Jay.
Rounding out the team are the diligent housekeeper Elsie and the sibling chef duo Matt and George. Together, this crew works behind the scenes to ensure their wealthy guests experience vacations that are nothing short of extraordinary. Whether navigating unpredictable client demands or managing the intense pressure of their jobs, the team’s efforts promise to provide viewers with plenty of drama, humour, and unforgettable moments.
At the heart of the series is Luxico, a real-life luxury vacation business that caters to high-end clientele. Ben Davies, founder of Ronde Media, highlighted the show’s unique premise, stating:
“This fresh and exciting new Australian series is an irresistible access-all-areas entry-pass into the world of luxury vacation stays – where best-in-class hospitality staff must meet the demands of uber-wealthy holidaymakers. Filmed behind the scenes at a real-life business, Luxico, we reveal just what it takes for a team of sought-after chefs, butlers and concierges to succeed at this level.”
Davies also expressed pride in creating a format that he believes will resonate not only in Australia but also on an international scale:
“We’re very proud to have created an original format – one we’re sure will travel and resonate internationally. Full kudos to BINGE for backing new Australian content.”
Billion Dollar Playground represents a significant collaboration between BINGE and Fox Entertainment Global, marking the first such partnership aimed at worldwide distribution. The series will be formally introduced to international buyers at MIPCOM in the coming week, positioning it as a major contender on the global television market.
Alison Hurbert-Burns, Commissioner and Executive Director of Entertainment Content at Foxtel Group, emphasised the show’s unique blend of luxury and workplace dynamics:
“Billion Dollar Playground is a bold original format developed by Foxtel Group and Ronde that blends luxury real estate with high-stakes service industry drama, delivering entertaining, unique content that really pushes the envelope. We know how popular workplace reality series are with audiences and this fresh approach is sure to make a statement.”
Hurbert-Burns also expressed enthusiasm for the global distribution opportunity, adding:
“Our partnership with Fox Entertainment Global for international distribution allows us to showcase this one-of-a-kind Australian docu-soap reality on a global platform. I’m looking forward to its debut on BINGE and Foxtel in 2025.”
Set to debut in 2025, Billion Dollar Playground is an eight-part, hour-long unscripted reality series commissioned by the Foxtel Group for BINGE. Executive producers include Jacqueline Saddington, Howard Myers-Rifai, and Alison Hurbert-Burns for Foxtel Group, with Ben Davies serving as executive producer for Ronde Media. International distribution will be handled by Fox Entertainment Global, underscoring the project’s ambition to appeal to a broad audience beyond Australian shores.
As Billion Dollar Playground gears up for its 2025 release, fans of luxury lifestyle television can anticipate a fresh take on workplace reality, where the high-stakes demands of the ultra-wealthy intersect with the grit and glamour of top-tier hospitality service.
