Wide World of Sports will continue to give fans their footy fix when the Australian Men’s and Women’s Prime Minister’s XIII take on Papua New Guinea this Sunday, October 13 on the 9Network and 9Now.
A double-header of games will be available live and free from 1.30pm AEDT, when an exciting mix of youth and experience from the NRL and NRLW kick off the international post season fixtures in Port Moresby.
Coached by Brad Fittler, the Men’s Prime Minister’s XIII will feature some of the best up-and-coming players in the game including Lachlan Galvin (Wests Tigers) and the NRL’s 2024 top try scorer Alofiana Khan-Pereira (Gold Coast Titans), captained by Damien Cook.
The Women’s Prime Minister’s XIII will be captained by Jillaroos champion Kezie Apps (Wests Tigers), and will also feature Jaime Chapman (Gold Coast Titans), Teagan Berry (St George Illawarra) and Lauren Brown (Gold Coast Titans).
Nine’s commentary team is headed up by former Australian Kangaroos legends Andrew Johns and Billy Slater, international rugby league representatives Ruan Sims, Millie Elliott, Allana Ferguson and commentator Brenton Speed.
