We have enough energy and resources without opening new mines/gas fields which will wreck the planet- to transition to renewable energy, the issue is that energy and mining companies export over 80% of it and price gouge and threaten australians with shortages – nuclear is just a delaying tactic to muddy the debate and delay the introduction of renewables and keep the same mining and energy corporations making billions rather than the decentralized possibilities of solar etc…
