Football in October
All Month Long
October kicks off with a thrilling month of live football action. The 2024/2025 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s season returns on Friday, 18 October, with every match from both the Men’s and Women’s leagues streaming live, exclusively on Paramount+. Adding to the excitement, Central Coast Mariners will compete in the AFC Champions League Elite, also available exclusively.
International football fans can catch all the drama of the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to 26, including the Subway Socceroos taking on China PR on Thursday, 10 October, and Japan on Tuesday, 15 October. Finally, don’t miss the CommBank Matildas face off against Germany in a not-so-friendly friendly on Tuesday, 29 October.
Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale – Season One

The new original South Korean romantic comedy, Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale, is available for binge-watching on Paramount+. The show follows Shin Jae-rim (played by Pyo Ye Jin), who dreams of escaping her mundane life to become a modern-day Cinderella. However, her crush, Moon Cha-min (played by Lee Jun Young), is her boss and is engaged to someone else. Australia’s wildest reality series, Aussie Shore, debuts with a bang. This first-ever Australian edition of the internationally popular “Shores” franchise brings together 11 lively singletons to party and live together in Cairns, Queensland. Expect endless chaos as Charlotte Crosby, the most famous face from Geordie Shore, takes the role of House Boss, guiding the cast through a summer filled with unforgettable, unfiltered antics. NCIS: Origins – Season One
