In a major development announced today, Stan has taken the helm of the Australian series Nautilus, which was filmed on the Gold Coast in 2022 but left in dry dock by Disney.

The ten-part series originally commissioned by Disney+ UK, based on Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, will soon make its highly anticipated debut on Stan, with all episodes set to stream exclusively on the streamer.

Nautilus stars Shazad Latif (Star Trek: Discovery) as Captain Nemo, joined by Australian actress Georgia Flood (Apples Never Fall) and a host of talented local and international actors, including Richard E. Grant, Anna Torv, and Noah Taylor.
