This Thursday, September 26, at 7:30pm, viewers can tune in to the My Room Grand Final Spectacular, airing live from Palms at Crown Melbourne.
The event, hosted by the Sunday Footy Show team, will be held in partnership with the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity to raise critical funds supporting children battling cancer.
The special broadcast will spotlight remarkable stories from children and their families who have been supported by My Room, while also recognising the tireless efforts of volunteers who help raise essential funds for Family Support, Clinical Care, and Research across Australia.
The evening’s proceedings will be anchored by Eddie McGuire, joined by Alicia Loxley and Clint Stanaway, alongside Tony Jones, Nathan Brown, Matthew Lloyd, Kane Cornes, and Damian Barrett. The panel will also give their final insights ahead of the AFL Grand Final, two days later, while also engaging with the courageous children and families who have benefited from My Room’s initiatives.
Adding a light-hearted touch to the night, viewers will be treated to exclusive Brownlow Medal red-carpet interviews conducted by the youngest members of the broadcast team, who will be posing some “hard-hitting” questions to the AFL players.
In addition to the football action, the event will feature live musical performances from artists Cody Simpson and Emmanuel Kelly, further enriching the entertainment line-up. My Room ambassadors, including Patrick Cripps, Andrew McGrath, and Will Day, will also lend their presence to the cause.
Several other high-profile My Room supporters, including Kate Langbroek, Michelle Payne, Brody Mihocek, Nick Newman, and Josh Piterman, will assist with donation calls from the event’s phone room, while Billy Brownless is expected to make an appearance, mingling with guests in some of Crown’s key venues.
For those feeling lucky, the charity raffle offers a grand prize—a Mitsubishi Outlander ES 7 Seat 2WD Wagon valued at $44,000. All proceeds from the raffle will directly support My Room’s vital work.
