Queensland fans, don’t miss out! Johnathan Thurston has $10K worth of Cowboys tickets up for grabs.
On the eve of the North Queensland Cowboys’ crucial finals clash against the Cronulla Sharks, Johnathan Thurston has demonstrated his enduring support for Queensland. The Cowboys legend and Channel 9 commentator has purchased $10,000 worth of tickets for Queensland fans based in New South Wales, ensuring they can be part of the action at Allianz Stadium in Sydney.
The initiative was unveiled during the Today show. Thurston has partnered with the NRL’s official insurance sponsor, Youi, to offer these tickets to Queensland supporters as the Cowboys continue their finals campaign.
Fans who are supporters of the Queensland Maroons or any Queensland-based NRL teams can secure their tickets by emailing proof of their allegiance to [email protected] from today.
This gesture comes as excitement builds for tonight’s Sharks v Cowboys game, marking the first of two finals matches at Allianz Stadium this weekend. Adding to the anticipation, Thurston and former Sharks captain Paul Gallen—who led their respective teams to premiership victories—have agreed to a light-hearted wager. Whichever team is victorious, the opposing captain has committed to donning the winner’s colours for the preliminary final next week.
