PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

The Block (1,044,000 avg) (lw 1.056m) on Nine, fuelled by contestant drama, ploughed on for an easy win in primetime. My Kitchen Rules (705,000 avg) on Seven and The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition (572,000 avg) on Channel 10 fell into their respective slots well behind.

Commercial 7pm:
A Current Affair (981,000 avg) on Nine
Home and Away (859,000 avg) on Seven
The Project (319,000 avg) (6:30pm-7:30pm) on 10.

The evening’s offerings on the ABC led solidly with 7:30 (765,000 avg) (lw 755k) and Back Roads (575,000 avg) (lw 559k), and The Assembly (415,000 avg) (lw 435k) kicked on afterwards.

The season seven premiere of The Hundred with Andy Lee (535,000 avg) on Nine took line honours in the later primetime slot, followed by a resurgent The Cheap Seats (462,000 avg) (lw 399k) on 10 and an all-but ignored Made in Bondi (149,000 avg) (lw 167k) on Seven.
