Seven and Nine continue to be locked in a vicious battle, and depending on how you slice the numbers, they both win in various ways…

PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

The Block (1,056,000 avg) (lw 940k) on Nine delivers the drama and the primetime win over nearest rival The Voice Australia (965,000 avg) (lw 1.054m) on Seven. Celebrity Deal or No Deal (242,000 avg) on Channel 10 is screen-saver television.

Commercial 7pm:
A Current Affair (1,115,000 avg) on Nine
Home and Away (887,000 avg) on Seven
The Project (304,000 avg) (6:30pm-7:30pm) on 10.

7:30 (755,000 avg) (lw 747k) and Back Roads (559,000 avg) (lw 616k) both strong for the ABC to land them comfortably in third place overall. The Assembly (435,000 avg) (lw 486k) continues to be competitive also, landing second in the slot nationally.

Paralympics Paris 2024 – Day 6 (572,000 avg) on Nine continues the win in the later primetime slot for the host network, as The Cheap Seats (399,000 avg) (lw 462k) on 10 slipped a little week-on-week. Made In Bondi (167,000 avg) (lw 212k) on Seven would, you think, have a better catch-up audience, but it doesn’t seem to have…
