Prime Video will distribute this extensive package of NBA games in the U.S. and internationally, with expanded coverage in select territories such as Mexico, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

This includes a minimum of 20 additional primetime regular season games each year, a Conference Finals series annually, and the NBA Finals in six of the 11 years. Additionally, Prime Video Channels will be the strategic partner and global destination for NBA League Pass, the NBA’s subscription service for live and on-demand games.

Additionally, Prime Video has secured a separate 11-year rights agreement with the WNBA starting in 2026. This agreement includes exclusive streaming of 30 WNBA regular-season games each season worldwide, including the Championship Game of the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup presented by Coinbase.

Prime Video will also have exclusive coverage of WNBA postseason games, including one first-round series each year, seven Semifinal series, and three WNBA Finals over the 11-year period. Prime Video Channels will also host the WNBA League Pass.

“The digital opportunities with Amazon align perfectly with the global interest in the NBA”

said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.

“And Prime Video’s massive subscriber base will dramatically expand our ability to reach our fans in new and innovative ways.”

“We are proud to be the first exclusive streaming partner for the NBA, bringing Prime members across the globe one of the most exciting and most popular sports in the world,” said Jay Marine, Global Head of Sports, Prime Video.

“Elevating our partnership with Amazon allows us to provide more games and access to fans who subscribe to Prime Video around the world at a time of historic interest in the WNBA and women’s basketball”

The agreements also have significant relevance for Australian viewers. Prime Video has rapidly become a leader in presenting live sports worldwide, with properties like the ICC T20 World Cup available in Australia.

These new deals with the NBA and WNBA further expand the premium sports content available to Australian Prime members, enhancing their viewing experience with more live sports action.

Prime Video’s NBA and WNBA coverage will begin in the 2025-26 and 2026 seasons respectively, featuring live pregame, postgame, and halftime shows, as well as coverage of the NBA Summer League, WNBA games, and NBA G League games.
