Continuing Nine’s Beyond The Dream series, this feature offers an in-depth look at the Matildas’ preparation for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Viewers will gain exclusive access to the Matildas’ training camp in Florida, USA, revealing the behind-the-scenes efforts of Australia’s renowned women’s football team.
The documentary, presented by 60 Minutes’ Amelia Adams, includes intimate interviews with key players such as Steph Catley, Caitlin Foord, Lydia Williams, Teagan Micah, and rising star Charli Grant. These athletes share their personal journeys, detailing their struggles and triumphs from playing in boys’ teams during their youth to forming strong careers and friendships, all while fighting for recognition and equality in the sport.
