Join 7NEWS this Friday for the first of two high-stakes US presidential debates as President Joe Biden and Donald Trump face-off ahead of the November general election – the first ever between a sitting president and his predecessor.

Set to be one of the most-watched debates in American history, live and commercial-free coverage will air from 11.00am AEST on Channel 7 and 7plus.

7NEWS’ US Correspondent Tim Lester will provide critical analysis throughout the debate in Atlanta, with new rules including no pre-written notes and a moderating system expected to test both Biden and Trump, who are currently neck-and-neck in the polls.
