PRIMETIME ANALYSIS

MasterChef Australia (703,000 avg) (lw 659k) on Channel 10 steps up and takes the commercial win as Dream Home (632,000 avg) on Seven plummets on night 2…doesn’t bode well for night 3. The Summit Australia (542,000 avg) (lw 526k) on Nine lifts a little week-on-week but isn’t close to being competitive.

Commercial 7pm:
A Current Affair (1,035,000 avg) on Nine
Home and Away (835,000 avg) on Seven
The Project (387,000 avg) (6:30pm-7:30pm) on 10.

7:30 (791,000 avg) (lw 710k) and Australian Story (741,000 avg) (lw 686k) led a strong and primetime winning night for the ABC, followed by a resurgent 4 Corners (603,000 avg) (lw 565k) and consistent Media Watch (584,000 avg) (lw 595k). Q+A (279,000 avg) (lw 288k) continues its tradition of being uninspiring.

Have You Been Paying Attention? (765,000 avg) (lw 683k) on 10 soared in the later primetime, dwarfing the commercial rivalry of 9-1-1 (373,000 avg) (lw 489k) on Seven and Paramedics (341,000 avg) (lw 342k) on Nine.
