In news that will surprise absolutely nobody, Channel 9 have started the casting process for Season 12 of ratings and watercooler chat juggernaut Married At First Sight.
The reality series (Née social experiment) now in it’s eleventh season will mark it’s 10th year in 2025, and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down anytime soon.
The show is a clear number 1 in its timeslot each night, with current competition Australian Idol and Australian Survivor well behind in every measurement possible – reach, total audience, BVOD, you name it.
The casting notice posted online reads:
“Are you looking for love?”
“If you’re searching for The One and are ready to settle down, Australia’s biggest social experiment could help you find your soulmate.”
It continues:
Married At First Sight is searching for men and women of all ages and backgrounds who are genuinely committed to finding love.
This groundbreaking social experiment uses science and psychology to help Australian singles meet their perfect partner.
“But there’s a catch… you won’t get to meet your future husband or wife until your wedding day!”
This is not a competition and there is no cash prize up for grabs. Instead, you could walk away with the most valuable prize of all… true love.
