ABC IVIEW unveils riveting content for JUNE – Including Utopia, The PM’s Daughter and Dolphins: Is Our Love Too Deep?

Leading Australian streaming platform, ABC iview, is set to enthral its audience this June with an impressive slate of fresh and returning content, taking viewers from the picturesque landscapes of Scotland to the secretive life of a platypus in Hobart’s waterways.

Kicking off the month is the Australian premiere of “Miriam and Alan Lost in Scotland And Beyond”. The second series, airing on Thursday 1st June, will feature Miriam Margolyes and Alan Cumming as they venture through spectacular locations in Scotland, reignite old friendships and reminisce shared memories.

On Tuesday 6th June, viewers can look forward to the world premiere of “Designing A Legacy“. Follow architectural aficionado Tim Ross as he traverses the nation, unfolding a different story of Australia that illuminates how innovative design fosters connections to place and community.

That same day will mark the debut of “Dolphins: Is Our Love Too Deep?“, an investigative documentary scrutinising the impact of hand-feeding tourism programmes on Australia’s wild dolphins.

Delving into the mysterious life of one of Australia’s native species, “The Platypus Guardian” is set to premiere on Tuesday 13th. Join Peter Walsh, a resident of Hobart, as he uncovers the challenges faced by a female platypus surviving in Hobart’s increasingly diminishing waterways.

The world premiere of the satirical comedy “Utopia” graces ABC iview on Wednesday 7th. The narrative follows the trials and tribulations of the Nation Building Authority staff as they grapple with government meddling and constantly changing objectives.

Making its return for a 15th season on Wednesday 21st, “Gruen”, led by Wil Anderson and a knowledgeable panel, will strive to equip audiences with the ability to navigate the manipulative world of advertising.

“Flyways: The Extraordinary Story of Migratory Shorebirds” premieres on Tuesday 20th. This documentary shines a light on the astonishing athleticism of shorebirds, while highlighting the mounting challenges they face due to climate change and human expansion.

Monday 12th unveils the second series of “The PM’s Daughter”, with protagonist Cat battling a brand new conspiracy against her mother amidst a fiercely competitive internship and a clandestine romance.

Rounding off the line-up is the FTA premiere of “Grand Designs Revisits” on Sunday 18th. The show’s host, Kevin McCloud, revisits past project homes to see whether the dream has held up against reality.

Additionally, beloved series such as “Vera” (Series 6), “The Durrells” (Series 2), “Grantchester” (Series 5) and “The Split” (Series 3) will make a return to the platform.
