Stan, the Australian streaming platform for original productions, has unveiled the trailer for its new six-part series, “Totally Completely Fine,” which is set to premiere this April.
The new original drama features Thomasin McKenzie, known for her roles in “Jojo Rabbit” and “Last Night in Soho.”
“Totally Completely Fine” follows the story of Vivian Cunningham, played by McKenzie, a 20-something woman who is struggling to make ends meet, living in a rundown share house, and battling alcohol addiction.
After accidentally burning down her brother’s food truck, Vivian inherits her grandfather’s home on the edge of a cliff. She soon discovers that the shack is a known suicide spot, and her grandfather used to try and save people who were contemplating suicide.
The series is created by Gretel Vella, who previously created the Stan Exclusive series “The Great,” and asks the question: “how many lives do we have to save before we’ll save ourselves?”
The series also stars Devon Terrell, Brandon McClelland, Rowan Witt, Contessa Treffone, James Sweeny, Max Crean, and Brigid Zengeni.
The co-production between Sundance Now and Stan is produced by Fremantle Australia and directed by Lucy Gaffy, with Adrian Chiarella directing episode four. The show is financed with the assistance of the NSW Government and Screen NSW’s Made in NSW Fund, with FremantleMediaInternational handling international distribution.
“Totally Completely Fine” is created and executive produced by Gretel Vella, with Keir Wilkins and Emme Hoy writing alongside her. The series is produced by Nat Lindwall and Alice Willison, who previously worked on the Stan Original Series “The Other Guy.”
