PRIYANKA CHOPRA JONAS to narrate Disney Nature’s Tiger

Disney+ have announced that Priyanka Chopra Jonas will narrate Disneynature’s “Tiger” this April, exactly 15 years after the label’s first release, “Earth.”

The ABC’s re-jigged Wednesday pays off as 10 crumbles.

A Current Affair (672,000) continues a strong run at 7pm for Nine, as The Block (757,000) continues to stamp its authority over primetime. After the Verdict (367,000) slips a little on last week, though Total TV numbers are a boost. Later, US dramas Family Law (112,000), and Chicago Med (31,000) drew smaller audiences.
Nine first in both primary (22.5%) and network (30.6%) rankings.

Home & Away (448,000) continues it’s mid-400 run for Seven, as MKR (470,000) lifts a little however remains well off the pace in primetime. The rest of the evening underwhelmed with Martin Clunes: Islands of the Pacific (260,000), Air Crash Investigations (113,000), and Chicago Fire (45,000).
Seven second in both primary (19.7%) and network (27.2%) rankings.

7:30 (536,000) and a repeat of Hard Quiz (463,000) lift the ABC’s Wednesday primetime again. Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (508,000) lifts big on last week, while Aftertaste (175,000) lifts a little, though Win The Week (147,000) falls significantly in its “all-new” timeslot. Repeats of Adam Hills: The Last Leg (124,000), and Spicks and Specks (35,000) finish out the night.
ABC third in both primary (13.6%) and network (18.7%) rankings.

The Project (229,000 6:30pm; 342,000 7pm) continues to struggle on 10, as does Shaun Micallef’s Brain Eisteddfod (225,000). The evening doesn’t improve with Ghosts (151,000), a repeat of Bull (90,000), and another new episode of Good Sam (DNR).
10 fourth in both primary (8.2%) and network (14.5%) rankings.

A slower night for SBS, with a repeats of Tony Robinson’s History of Britain (146,000) and Secret Scotland (139,000), and a new episode of The Stranger (79,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (4.4%) and network (9.1%) rankings.


KEY DEMOS

16-39: The Block (141,000) came in ahead of Nine News 6:30pm, Seven News 6:30pm/6pm, and Nine News 6pm.

18-49: The Block (252,000) defeated Nine News 6:30pm, Seven News 6:30pm, Nine News 6pm, and Seven News 6pm.

25-54: The Block (326,000) claimed the triple-demo win, followed by Nine News 6:30pm/6pm, and Seven News 6:30pm/6pm.

No changes to the previous week’s primetime line-up after the Total TV figures were added: The Block (Nine) lifted 40% to 1,505,000; MKR (Seven) lifted 28% to 912,000; and Shaun Micallef’s Brain Eisteddfod (10) lifted 12% to 454,000.

The BVOD best were The Block (270,000), Home and Away (138,000), and MKR (130,000).
