The dramatic victory by Australia in the 1983 America’s Cup is chronicled in “Untold: The Race of the Century,” a Netflix film that tells a classic underdog story.

For the first time, the legendary Australia II yacht crew looks back on the motivation, dedication and innovation that led to their historic victory at the 1983 America’s Cup.

This new Netflix documentary tells the tale of the scrappy group of Australians who band together to dethrone the New York Yacht Club, and break the longest-running win streak in history— 132 years!— in the most prestigious sailing competition in the world.
