This Friday night Better Homes and Gardens is back after the Commonwealth Games and features Johanna Griggs doing a celebrity walkaround with singer-songwriter Vance Joy.
JOHANNA – CELEBRITY WALKAROUND: VANCE JOY
His debut single ‘Riptide’ spent 120 weeks in the Australian charts and sold over 6 million copies worldwide. He toured with Pink and played to packed stadiums, but with a background in landscaping it seems appropriate to see Vance Joy on Better Homes and Gardens. As they wander towards his home, Joh and Vance discuss how his music career started, his renewed love of an old hobby that helps him unwind and his favourite memories during his meteoric rise to stardom.
ADAM – SMALL JOBS AND MAINTENANCE
It’s easy to put off small jobs and maintenance issues when they don’t seem to affect you much. But left unchecked they can lead to much bigger problems. At a local farm he talks to Di, a third-generation strawberry farmer who talks Ed through the business and even has some tips for you to grow your own strawberries.
