Movin’ to the Country celebrates the entrepreneurs, innovators and dreamers who are transforming the look and feel of Regional Australia.

Join hosts Craig Quartermaine, Halina Baczkowski and Kristy O’Brien as they head off to a different region every week to tell the stories of folk looking to make a good living from their little patch of paradise.

This week, Movin’ to the Country heads to South Australia.

Halina Baczkowski jumps on the ferry to Kangaroo Island to meet the owner of a local wildlife sanctuary who rebounded from the horrors of the 2020 bushfires to create a tour company turning tourists into citizen scientists.

Kristy O’Brien meets a couple of footy legends in the Clare Valley who grow year-round native foods to build partnerships with innovative local chefs.

Then Craig Quartermaine is in the Barossa Valley, on a sixth-generation sheep farm where two young siblings are taking the property in entirely new directions.
