Six of the most resilient Alone participants from previous seasons are back for the new spin-off series to put their survival abilities to the test once more.
The all-new Alone spin-off series Alone: Frozen, premieres today express from the U.S. on Binge and Foxtel On Demand, with new episodes dropping every Friday.
Survivalists will attempt to last fifty days in an area with the densest population of Polar Bears in the United States after being abandoned on the icy North Atlantic Coast of Labrador, Canada, just as winter is setting in.
They will contend with howling winds, relentless rain, and North America’s most vicious cold-weather predators while enduring extreme conditions worse than any of the episodes of Alone’s previous seasons.
The survivalists who make it to the end with just a few resources and their prior experiences to draw on will receive a portion of the $500,000 USD cash prise.
Fans’ favourites Greg Ovens (from Season 3), Woniya Thibeault (from Season 6), Callie Russell (from Season 7), Mark D’Ambrosio (from Season 7), Amós Rodriguez (from Season 7) and Michelle Finn are among the returning survivalists in Alone: Frozen (Season 8).
Additionally, starting on August 5th, fans will be able to stream Alone: The Skills Challenge, a brand-new Alone spin-off series that centres on three previous competitors as they compete to accomplish amazing bushcraft builds with only the most basic tools and local supplies.
Their objective is to demonstrate who has the creativity, knowledge, and wilderness expertise necessary to create the most incredible survival build. Participants will do it their all to impress previous Alone participants who will judge the structures, including elevated shelters, hand-crafted ovens, and watercraft.
Like in Alone, contestants will record their own experiences, but this time on familiar ground.
