Nine’s Beauty and the Geek Australia finale lost in the noise.

The audience is still addicted to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (595,000 Evening; 713,000 Night; 340,000 Late), drawing in consistent numbers for Seven.
Seven first in both primary (28.3%) and network (37.3%) rankings.

A Current Affair (635,000) remains Nine’s best, however the finale of Beauty and the Geek Australia (508,000 avg (478,000 finale; 537,00 winner)) did some reasonable business. A repeat of Travel Guides (322,000), then new eps of Chicago Med (54,000) and Travel Guides NZ (DNR) finish out the evening.
Nine second in both primary (19.9%) and network (27.4%) rankings.

7:30 (443,000) and Win the Week (324,000) slide into third in primetime with the latter down 37% on last year’s premiere. Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (453,000) is consistent if a little smaller, Aftertaste (190,000) ticks up a little, and then into repeats of Adam Hills: The Last Leg (112,000) and and Small Axe (DNR).
ABC third in both primary (10.4%) and network (14.3%) rankings.

10 struggling post-Hunted Australia, with The Project (254,000 6:30pm; 312,000 7pm) severely CommGames affected, as is Shaun Micallef’s Brain Eisteddfod (270,000) very likely though it’s nearly halved its audience in three eps. Ghosts (150,000), a repeat of Bull (93,000), and Good Sam (42,000) do nothing to help.
10 fourth in both primary (7.9%) and network (13.4%) rankings.

SBS have another quiet night, with New York: The City That Never Sleeps (144,000), a repeat of Secret Scotland (125,000), and a new ep of Too Close (43,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (3.7%) and network (7.5%) rankings.
