There is another massive line-up of sporting action ahead as coverage of the Commonwealth Games continues on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus.

Thursday Evening

6.00pm | Netball: Australia take on Gold Coast 2018 bronze medallists, the Sunshine Girls of Jamaica, in their final group match before the semi-finals. Super Netball grand final player of the match, Jhaniele Fowler, will captain the Jamaicans. In group B, New Zealand play reigning champions England, with the loser likely to have the tougher semi-final against Australia.

7.00pm | Athletics: The men’s decathlon gets underway! Can Aussies Ash Moloney and Cedric Dubler upset defending champion Lindon Victor of Grenada? Then, the women’s 1500m T53/T54 will see legendary Australian Paralympians, defending champion Madison de Rozario, Angela Ballard and Christie Dawes. Women’s high jump qualifying begins with recently crowned world champion Eleanor Patterson and Nicola Olyslagers (nee McDermott) – two of Australia’s hot favourites to win a medal!

7.00pm | Cycling: The men’s and women’s road time trials will feature Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medallist Rohan Dennis and Australia’s top-ranked road rider Grace Brown, who finished 4th in Tokyo.

11.00pm | Diving: The opening night of the diving will feature Esther Qin in the 10m individual. Will she become the first Australian diver to win gold at three consecutive Games?

Friday Morning

3.00am | Diving: Can Australian diver Shixin Li make it to the men’s 1m springboard final?

3.00am | Gymnastics: Australian bronze medallist, Alexandra Kiroi-Bogatyreva, returns for her second Games, alongside debutants Ashari Gill and Lidiia Iakovleva in the rhythmic gymnastics individual qualification events.

4.00am | Athletics: Toowoomba native, Matt Denny, will go for gold in the men’s discus throw final, while Chris Mitrevski and Henry Frame will compete in the final of the men’s long jump.

4.00am | Boxing: Aussie Tina Rahimi takes on Sameenah Toussaint of England in the women’s featherweight quarter final.

6.00am | Hockey: The Kookaburras play Melbourne 2006 silver medallists Pakistan in the final pool match.

Friday Evening

5.30pm | Lawn bowls: 2018 champions Rebecca Van Asch and Natasha van Eldik will be joined by Lynsey Clarke – who skipped Gold Coast as she had just given birth – in the women’s triples. Then, Gold Coast 2018 gold medallist, Jake Fehlberg, is looking to become the first para lawn bowls player to win back to back gold medals with new partner, Helen Boardman. Jake will be directed by Matthew Northcott, while Peter Doherty will guide Helen in the mixed B2/B3 pairs event.

7.00pm | Athletics: We’re back at the track for the highly anticipated final day of the men’s decathlon featuring Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medallist, Ash Moloney competing against fellow Aussie Cedric Dubler.

11.30pm | Gymnastics: Will Alexandra Kiroi-Bogatyreva, Ashari Gill and Lidiia Iakovleva make it through to the individual finals? The last time Australia won a medal in this even was Naazmi Johnston’s gold in 2010!
