Former New York Police Department officer Carl Hickman’s (William Fichtner) life has fallen apart after he was injured on the job – he has become addicted to morphine and works as a garbage collector at a carnival in the Netherlands. Hickman is given a lifeline when he is recruited to join the International Criminal Court’s special crime unit.

Based in The Hague, the unit investigates a variety of crimes that cross international boundaries.

The unit includes an anti-organised crime, a covert specialist from Italy, a technical specialist from Germany, a crimes analyst, a human-trafficking specialist from France, weapons specialist, and tactical expert from Northern Ireland.

Crossing Lines also stars Tom Wlaschiha and Donald Sutherland.

The US military presence in West Germany in the early 1950s is opening a new world, paving the way for a new era of individual freedom, permissiveness, and capitalism. This development in the fictitious town of Kaltenstein is the setting for Between Two Worlds, the powerful story of friendship between two women who both strive to create lives for themselves during a time of great change, coming into conflict with the old order – the conservative forces of politics, the Church, and society.

Confronted with the temptations of the New World, the two dissimilar women develop in opposing directions, putting their friendship to the test. While Marie, who comes from a conservative farmer’s family, slowly develops into a modern, enlightened woman, the extroverted Erika seems unable to fully adapt to the changing times.

While recovery may have equipped Shiv with great ideas and tools, her family and ex-boyfriend Jack will put these and her newfound sobriety to the test in this moving comedy-drama.

This drama chronicles how in October 1958, the Sicilian newspaper L’Ora denounced the mafia and its endemic organised crime in the region. Shortly after, a bomb detonated in front of the editorial offices; only two days later, the daily reappeared with the headline: “The Mafia may threaten us, our investigation continues”.

Inspired by those events, this series takes place in Palermo during the late 1950’s and early 1960’s and follows how a newly minted editor in chief, with his group of fearless journalists, focus their investigation on organised crime and its reach into every corner of soc iety .

Adam is living the dream. Until one day a mysterious stranger sits down next to him in a bar and reveals a dark secret about his wife. As quickly as the stranger came, she is gone. As the stranger’s words eat away at him, Adam begins to investigate his wife and soon finds himself caught up in something far darker – and far bigger – than he initially realised.

When veteran detective Danny Frater (James Nesbitt) turns up at a hospital mortuary for a routine ID check, he’s devastated to discover the corpse of his estranged daughter Christina (Imogen King). Danny refuses to accept the coroner’s report that points to suicide, and sets out on a dangerous, agonising mission to uncover the events that led to her death.

At the same time, he’s forced to come to terms with his own failings as a father and the part he himself may have played in her downfall. As he struggles to make sense of a mass of opposing testimonies and circumstantial evidence, Danny must decide who is responsible for Christina’s death – and what he can do within the limits of the law to get even.

France 1978. Didier Mathure (Melvil Poupaud), a brilliant space engineer, is transferred to GEPAN, a unit specialising in UFOs, run by a team whose members seem to be living on another planet themselves.

After seeing a UFO for himself, which has unsettled his ultra-rational mind, Didier is now travelling the country in the hope of new sightings, in vain. He’s about to give up when a strange phenomenon occurs at a nuclear power plant. It’s a challenge for the GEPAN team, who find themselves overwhelmed by this mystery that people find so fascinating.

Convinced that an extra-terrestrial being is trying to make contact, Didier will do all he can to answer, unless Claire Carmignac (Alice Taglioni) from the Ministry of Energy gets in his way.

Inspired by real events and set in the 1920s, The Porter follows the journeys of an ensemble of characters who hustle, dream, cross borders, and pursue their ambitions in the fight for liberation – on and off the railways that crossed North America. It is a gripping story of empowerment and idealism that highlights the moment when railway workers from both Canada and the United States joined together to give birth to the world’s first Black union.

Set primarily in Montreal, Chicago and Detroit as the world rebuilds after the First World War, The Porter depicts the Black community in St. Antoine, Montreal – known, at the time, as the ‘Harlem of the North.’ They are young, gifted, and Black, from Canada, the Caribbean, and the U.S., via the Underground Railroad and through the Great Migration, and they find themselves thrown together north and south of the colour line, in an era that boasts anything is possible – but if change isn’t coming for them, they will come for it.

The Porter stars Aml Ameen, Ronnie Rowe, Mouna Traoré, and Loren Lott.

The first season begins in Fermont, a small mining town in northeast Quebec. When the body of a young dancer is discovered, detective Céline Trudeau (Isabel Richer), one of the department’s most experienced officers, is assigned to the case.

In the second season, an engineer who was responsible for the deadly collapse of an overpass is found buried in a cement bath at the Chateau Frontenac. Céline Trudeau is back on the case.

A drug deal between a prison guard and an inmate goes wrong and leads to the escape of the psychotic prisoner Emil Knapik (Konrad Eleryk). 24 hours pass before the police find him and once they do, the lives of two families linked to the penitentiary have been turned upside down.

Rafal (Arkadiusz Jakubik), the prison psychologist, is desperately searching for his teenage daughter Gabi (Matylda Giegzno), who has disappeared without a trace after going on a date night with her boyfriend Ariel. When Ariel’s body is found dead in the river, Gabi becomes the prime suspect. The police conclude that Gabi has killed Ariel in self-defence and then committed suicide.

Rafal strongly believes his daughter is still alive and will do everything he can to find her at all costs, while trying to keep his family together as the spiraling desperation forces him to confront his marital crisis and the emotional distance with his other daughter.

Mouths Of Sand

Mouths Of Sand, in title and in theme, is based on an old seafaring legend which says that whoever tells the secrets of the sea on land will have his mouth filled with sand, because the words brought to land always leave traces.

In the series, Inspector Nerea Garcia, played by Nagore Aranburu (Flowers, Caronte), is ordered to a small fishing village where she must investigate the disappearance of Josu, a boat captain, and the son-in-law of one of the town’s most powerful businessmen.

There she is partnered with Alex, a local assistant played by rising Basque star Eneko Sagardoy (Giant, Patria). What starts out as a cut and dry case quickly turns sinister as secrets are uncovered and faceless forces work against the investigation.
